Cloudburst Wreaks Havoc in Kedarghati, Houses and Vehicles Buried Under Debris

Rudraprayag (The Uttam Hindu)- Cloudburst caused devastation in Rumsi village of Kedarghati in Uttarakhand. According to information, many houses and vehicles of Rumsi village have been buried under debris.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the rescue team left for the spot. In the pictures that have surfaced, many houses, shops, vehicles and bikes are seen buried under the debris. Due to heavy rains and landslides, many routes in Rudraprayag have also been blocked. On the other hand, the footpath leading to Kedarnath Dham near Gaurikund has been blocked due to a hill crack. Efforts are being made to open the route at a fast pace. Keeping in mind the safety of the passengers, the administration has appealed to the people to pay attention to the warnings of the Meteorological Department and to get information about the condition of the roads before the journey. At the same time, local traders say that their business is also being affected due to the decrease in the number of devotees.
