Horrific Bus Accident in Himachal—5 Dead, 8 Injured; Over 20 Onboard

Mandi (The Uttam Hindu): A Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus fell into a ditch this morning in Sarkaghat under Mandi district of Himachal. According to initial information, 5 passengers have died in this accident and 8 passengers are reported to be injured. The injured have been admitted to Sarkaghat Hospital for first aid.

Tragic accident in Himachal: 4 killed, 8 injured as government bus falls into ditch, more than 20 passengers were on board : This accident took place near Maseran Talgra on the Sarkaghat-Jamni-Durgapur road. The local administration has started relief and rescue work. The corporation bus fell into a ditch about 150 meters below the road. It is being told that more than 20 passengers were on the bus. The police is taking the injured to the hospital in ambulances with the help of local people. The reason for the accident has not been ascertained yet.
