India Calls Out Pakistan’s Bombings on Its Own Citizens at UNHRC, Sparks Global Atte

New Delhi/Geneva (Uttam Hindu News): In a fiery rebuttal at the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), India’s representative Kshitij Tyagi lashed out at Pakistan, accusing it of misusing the global platform with baseless and provocative claims
Addressing the Council, Kshitij Tyagi, India’s representative at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, said that Pakistan should stop trying to occupy Indian territory, vacate the land it has already occupied, and focus instead on fixing its crumbling economy.
“If you get a break from bombing your own people…,” Tyagi remarked while slamming Pakistan’s internal failures. India accused Pakistan of exporting terrorism, sheltering UN-designated terrorists, and bombing its own citizens.
Tyagi also criticized military interference in Pakistan’s politics and its poor human rights record, stating that the country’s human rights history is stained with persecution.
India urged the UNHRC to remain universal, impartial, and non-selective. It also called upon the Council to encourage collective efforts that foster unity and constructive dialogue rather than division.
This statement comes at a time when relations between India and Pakistan remain tense over various issues.
