2 naxalites killed in Latehar; 10 lakh bounty on the one and 5 lakh on other

Jharkhand (The Uttam Hindu): A big news has come from Latehar of Jharkhand. On Saturday , security forces killed two dreaded Naxalites of the Naxalite organization Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad in Latehar district of Jharkhand. On both the naxalites killed were having bounty on them, on one it was 10 lakh and 5 lakh on another.

According to sources, another dreaded Naxalite has been injured in the firing by security forces, who has been arrested and an INSAS rifle has been recovered from him. It is being told that security forces have killed Pappu Lohara, who had a reward of Rs 10 lakh, and Prabhat Ganjhu, who had a reward of Rs 5 lakh, in Latehar district of Jharkhand.

He said that both were leaders of the dreaded Naxalite organization Jharkhand Jan Mukti Parishad. The operation is still going on. The police was on the operation under the leadership of Latehar SP Kumar Gaurav. CRPF and Jharkhand Police teams were involved in the operation. An encounter took place between the police and the JJMP militant squad in Ichwar forest.
