8 Killed, more than 20 injured in gruesome head‑on bus crash in Tamil Nadu

Sivaganga (Uttam Hindu News): A horrific road accident occurred in Tamil Nadu's Sivaganga district on Saturday. Eight people were killed and several other passengers were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two buses near Tirupattur.

Sivaganga district Superintendent of Police (SP) Siva Prasad confirmed the incident. According to police officials, the collision was so severe that the fronts of both buses were completely damaged. The collision caused widespread outcry. Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and began relief operations. The injured are currently undergoing treatment.
