Midnight horror in Bareilly: Bolero slams into tanker, 5 killed
A bolero crashed into a parked tanker in Bareilly, killing five people and injuring several others.
Bareilly (The Uttam Hindu) – Five people were killed and several others injured in a tragic road accident in Bareilly. The accident occurred near the Pardholi area of the CBganj police station area.
According to reports, a speeding Bolero coming from Lucknow lost control and rammed into a tanker parked on the side of the road. The impact was so severe that the vehicle was mangled and the occupants were trapped inside. Many died on the spot.
The accident caused chaos at the scene. Police and local residents arrived immediately upon receiving information, and a rescue operation was launched. The Bolero had to be cut open with a cutter to free the bodies and injured. One young man was trapped inside the vehicle for a long time and was rescued only after considerable effort.
The injured were immediately admitted to a nearby private hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment. The bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination.
It is reported that a motorcycle coming from behind also collided with the Bolero immediately after the collision, further worsening the accident. Initial investigations indicate that speeding and negligence are the primary causes of the accident. Police have launched an investigation and further investigations are underway.
