'Evacuate Airport Immediately': Agra Airport on Alert After Bomb Threat Email, Authorities Evacuate Premises

Agra (The Uttam Hindu): A bomb threat has been received at Agra Airport in Uttar Pradesh. This threat has been given through email, after which the security agencies have also become alert. It is being told that a bomb threat was received at Agra Airport on Monday morning. The person who sent the email claimed that there are explosives at Agra Airport. He wrote in the mail that the explosives have been hidden in a backpack. Evacuate the airport immediately.
According to the information, the threatening email was sent from an account named 'Road Kill'. The email claimed that 'Road Kill' and 'Kyun' were behind it. Airport's Chief Security Officer Sukirti Nigam has lodged a complaint against those who sent the threat at Shahganj police station.
Agra Police Station Shahganj has registered a case and started investigating the matter. Along with this, strict security arrangements have been made at Agra Airport and every inch of the airport is being searched.
The threatening email to Agra airport has come at a time when in the last few days, many airports in the country have received bomb threats.
On May 27, Mumbai Police arrested a man who had threatened to bomb the Mumbai International Airport.
Manjeet Kumar Gautam had called the Mumbai Police control room and threatened to blow up the Mumbai International Airport with a bomb. After this, the Mumbai Police swung into action and arrested the accused person.
