Agra Violence: Attack on SP MP Ramji Lal Suman's House Leaves 10 Policemen Injured, Two FIRs Filed
Agra (The Uttam Hindu) : Two cases have been registered in Hariparvat police station in connection with the attack on the house of SP Rajya Sabha member Ramji Lal Suman. One case has been registered by the MP's son, former MLA Ranjeet Suman. He has accused hundreds of youths of using casteist words, entering the society and attacking him and his supporters, breaking vehicles, entering the house and pelting stones and looting. At the same time, the second case has been registered by SI Dinesh Kumar posted for security against Okendra Rana of Karni Sena and unknown people. In this, he has accused them of forcibly entering the society, injuring policemen by pelting stones and vandalism.
Attack on SP MP's residence
On Wednesday afternoon, in protest against SP member Ramji Lal Suman's statement on Rana Sanga in Rajya Sabha, Kshatriya Karni Sena came out with bulldozers to demolish his residence. Hundreds of workers attacked Suman's residence. They broke the window panes with bricks and stones. They vandalized half a dozen vehicles including the MP's three cars. During the attack, the MP's son's family remained locked inside and kept screaming in fear. The police lathicharged and chased away the attackers. 10 policemen including inspector, sub-inspector and two other people were injured in the stone pelting. More than two dozen people were detained.
Rana Sanga was called a traitor
Speaking in Rajya Sabha last Friday, Ramji Lal Suman had called Rana Sanga a traitor. On Tuesday morning, the national president of the youth wing of Kshatriya Karni Sena, Okendra Rana (Haryana), released a video and said that if Suman did not apologize, his house would be demolished brick by brick. On Wednesday at 10.30 am, Karni Sena workers from Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and MP, led by president Okendra Rana and Veeru Rajput, reached Kuberpur near Yamuna Expressway in cars. From there, about 2500 workers left with a bulldozer for Suman's house at Sanjay Place flats at 12.15 pm.
Okendra Rana and Veeru Rajput were riding on the bulldozer. The police tried to stop the convoy at several places but failed everywhere. At Hariparvat intersection, the police made a last attempt to stop the car of the Karni Sena officials by putting up a barrier. The car of the Karni Sena officials, sitting on the roof of the Scorpio car, pushed the barrier and went away. The police succeeded in stopping the bulldozer. After this, pushing dozens of policemen, hundreds of activists broke the lock of gate number one of the HIG flats society and entered inside. Here they also tried to break the gate of Suman's residence but the police stopped them. Meanwhile, the activists targeted the MP's flat and pelted stones at it, breaking the glasses there.
Yogi targeted for attack on Suman's residence
Akhilesh also targeted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the vandalism at Suman's house. He wrote on X-When the violent incident of vandalism at the house of a PDA MP cannot be stopped even when the Chief Minister is present in Agra, then zero tolerance has to be zero. Is the Chief Minister's sphere of influence decreasing day by day or is no one listening to the outgoing CM now? If he is still the Chief Minister, then take immediate action and identify the culprits with the help of AI and punish them, otherwise it will be assumed that all this against the PDA MP has happened with his permission.
