Amit Shah recounts incident from Assam in Parliament, says people called Indira Gandhi a murderer

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) – Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated in the Lok Sabha that the country's Prime Minister is of the RSS ideology. He stated that PM Modi became Prime Minister through a mandate. Amit Shah added that dying for the country is the RSS ideology.
Amit Shah mentioned the slogan.
Rahul Gandhi interrupted Amit Shah's speech today, saying, "You're responding in a frightened manner." Amit Shah then added, "I speak my mind and I'm not afraid." He added, "When I was 10 years old, I chanted, 'The streets of Assam are empty, Indira Gandhi is a murderer.'"
Amit Shah has mentioned this incident several times. During the inauguration of the BJP office in Guwahati in 2022, he said, "I came to Assam for a Vidyarthi Parishad event, and then former Assam Chief Minister Hiteshwar Saikia had us severely beaten." Amit Shah said, "We chanted slogans like, 'The streets of Assam are empty,' and 'Indira Gandhi is a murderer,' and then the police beat us." He added, "At that time, we never imagined that the BJP would form a government here on its own, twice."
Targeting the Congress in the Lok Sabha, Amit Shah said, "During their time, entire ballot boxes would disappear in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This stopped after the introduction of EVMs. Election malpractices have stopped, which is why they are experiencing stomach aches. The fault lies not with EVMs; the method of winning elections was not a mandate, but a corrupt one. Today, they have been exposed."
The opposition staged a walkout during Amit Shah's speech. Shah then said, "Why did they flee the House? I wasn't even talking about the Congress party; I was talking about infiltrators. Our policy is detect, delete, deport, whereas their (Congress) policy is to normalize infiltration, grant it recognition, and formalize it by including it in the voter list."
