Amit Shah warns: Infiltration in Seemanchal will not be tolerated, illegal structures to be removed

Araria (The Uttam Hindu) - Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that we will expel every single infiltrator from Indian soil. He said that this is not an election promise, it is the resolve of the Modi government at the center. Now this is not just a promise, we are going to do this soon.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the border outposts 'Leti' and 'Indarwa' in Araria, Bihar, and addressed the e-inauguration and e-foundation stone laying ceremony of various works of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). He said that 556 km of border road has also been approved under the India-Nepal Border Road Scheme. Work has been completed in 14 out of 18 sections. Work is also being done at a fast pace in four sections. That too will be completed soon. Its completion will not only increase the surveillance capacity but will also increase the facilities for the citizens. It will also help in taking the development programmes to the last border.
He praised the SSB, saying that they are responsible for border security. It's true that we are protecting the border with a friendly country, one that has friendly relations with ours. He cautioned that it's also crucial to ensure that our country's enemies and those who wish to harm the country don't use that route to enter the country. Therefore, the Sashastra Seema Bal must maintain a sharp vigil and maintain strong sources of information. This requires a high level of communication and interaction between soldiers and officers within border villages. Only then can we receive accurate information from the villages.
Amit Shah said that all illegal encroachments within 10 kilometers of the border will be demolished under this campaign, and the process of identifying and deporting infiltrators will also begin. The areas most affected by demographic change are Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar. Elections are currently underway in Bengal, and I am confident that the BJP will form the government there. The government's primary agenda will be to complete the border fencing and expel every single infiltrator.
He said that usually, politicians have to remind the public of their promises, but today, I want to remind the people of Seemanchal of my own promise because I need their support. Infiltrators not only influence elections, they also steal the rations meant for the poor, undermine the youth's employment prospects, and pose a significant threat to national security. This campaign will begin soon in Seemanchal.
