Amit Shah Warns: “Punishment Will Be So Severe That the World Will Remember” After Delhi Blast

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday issued a strong warning following the Delhi blast, saying that the culprits will face such severe punishment that it will send a message to the entire world — no one will dare to even think of carrying out such an attack in India again.
Addressing an event of Moti Bhai Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School in Gujarat via video conferencing, Amit Shah said, “The punishment for those responsible for the Delhi explosion will be so harsh that the world will watch. This will ensure that no one dares to attempt such an act in our country in the future.” He also reaffirmed the government’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, emphasizing that such incidents will be dealt with uncompromisingly.
Delhi Blast Declared a Terror Attack
The Home Minister’s statement comes after a massive explosion near Lal Qila Metro Station on Monday evening, where a Hyundai i20 car exploded, killing 12 people and injuring several others. The impact of the blast was so intense that nearby vehicles were destroyed, causing significant damage in the area.
Investigation agencies are currently probing the incident. On Wednesday, during a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government officially classified the November 10 Lal Qila car explosion as a terrorist act. The committee strongly condemned the attack and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
