Bengaluru Horror: Woman Gang-Raped; Robbed of Cash, Fridge and Washing Machine at Friend's House

Bengaluru (The Uttam Hindu): A shameful incident has come to light from Karnataka's capital Bengaluru, where a woman was allegedly gang-raped at her friend's house. The accused not only brutalized the woman, but also snatched money and mobile phone from her and also looted the refrigerator and washing machine kept in the house.
This incident took place three days ago in Sai Layout located in Doddangamangala of Parappana Agrahara police station area, but the matter came to light today i.e. on Wednesday. The police took immediate action and detained three suspects on the basis of CCTV footage.
According to information received from the police, the victim was present at a friend's house when two accused forcibly entered the house. They allegedly raped the woman and threatened her with dire consequences if she complained about this to anyone.
It is alleged that after committing this heinous crime, the accused demanded money from the victim. Out of fear, the woman transferred money from her friend's account to the account mentioned by the accused. It is being told that this money was transferred to the account of a betting app. Apart from this, the accused also snatched two mobile phones of the victim and her friend.
The brutality of the accused did not stop here. They also took away a fridge and a washing machine from the house saying that this was in lieu of some loan.
After the incident, the victim mustered courage and lodged a complaint at the Parappana Agrahara police station. The police immediately registered a case and started investigating and after scanning the CCTV footage of the area, three suspects have been taken into custody. The police are interrogating the detained accused and further investigation into the case is underway.
