Dr Sanat Kaul said that this is a very sad accident and hundreds of people have lost their lives in it. People are speculating that a bird might have hit the plane or the flaps might have been upside down, but I believe that this is an incident of engine failure, because the plane came down shortly after going up. On the question about Boeing, Kaul said that in the last few years questions have been raised on the company many times and the US Parliament (US Congress) has also investigated the company. There were two-three crashes of Boeing 737 Max. However, Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a good plane. There has been no such problem in it till now. In such a situation, the truth will come out only after investigation.

Meanwhile, another aviation expert Sanjay Lazar said, "This is a very sad and heartbreaking incident. I pay tribute to all those who lost their lives in this accident and express my deepest condolences to their families." He further said, "Videos of the plane takeoff have surfaced, based on which it is clear that as soon as the flight took off, the pilot gave a 'Mayday call', which is an emergency signal. From this, it can be guessed that the engine in the plane had failed or there was a situation of massive bird hit."

He also said that right now we can only speculate. What was the real reason will be clear only after the report of the complete investigation comes. Air India flight AI 171 going from Ahmedabad to London crashed on Thursday afternoon. There were 242 people on board.
