Patna (The Uttam Hindu): Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajnath Singh today alleged that Bihar was never a backward state but it was made backward by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress. While addressing the BJP State Working Committee meeting, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has made a big announcement. He said that under the leadership of BJP and Nitish Kumar, Bihar is on the path of development, whether it is our Chief Minister or Deputy CM, there is no stain on their reputation, no one can prove this, this time the election will be only on development. Along with this, he has told that Nitish Kumar will be the next CM of Bihar and NDA will form the government in Bihar with a two-third majority.

Rajnath Singh said that Bihar was never a backward state, but it was made backward during the rule of Congress and RJD. Rajnath Singh took a dig at Lalu Prasad Yadav and said that along with RJD, Congress too has been guilty of ruining Bihar, the governments of both of them had pushed Bihar into the abyss, Bihar had gone into darkness due to crime, casteism and jungle raj, gradually this darkness has ended. Under the leadership of BJP and Nitish Kumar, Bihar is on the path of development.

The BJP leader said that during the RJD's rule, the 'laltern' did not spread light but it set fire in the society. He said that feelings of hatred were spread among different sections and castes of the society. No attention was paid to the safety of people's lives and property. He alleged that instead of worrying about the people of Bihar, RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav only worried about his family.
