BJP releases fourth list of 13 candidates for West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026 and changes candidate for Mainaguri seat.

Kolkata (The Uttam Hindu): The Bharatiya Janata Party has released its fourth list of 13 candidates for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026 and has also changed its candidate for the Mainaguri constituency.
According to the updated list, Dalim Roy will now contest from the Mainaguri (SC) seat, replacing the candidate announced earlier in the second list.

Notable developments
Shantanu Thakur’s wife, Soma Thakur, has been fielded from Bagda in North 24 Parganas district. Additionally, Santosh Pathak, who recently joined the BJP after leaving the Congress, has been given a ticket from the Chowringhee Assembly constituency in Kolkata.
