New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A bomb threat created panic ahead of the Delhi government’s budget presentation with warnings targeting the Delhi Assembly, Speaker Vijender Gupta and the Vidhan Sabha metro station. The threat was sent through email early in the morning, prompting immediate security action.
According to reports, the Assembly received the email at around 7:28 am while a similar message was sent to the Speaker shortly after. The threat also mentioned several top leaders including Narendra Modi and other senior officials, raising serious concerns.
Following the alert, security agencies launched intensive checks across the Assembly premises and nearby areas. Additional security has been deployed and authorities are investigating the source of the email while ensuring strict vigilance across the city.
