New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Panic spread on Friday after prominent schools in Ahmedabad and Noida received bomb threats via email. Following the threats, police and administrative authorities acted swiftly, and students were sent back home as a precautionary measure.

In Ahmedabad, Saint Xavier’s School and Sant Kabir School reportedly received bomb threat emails. Soon after the alerts, Ahmedabad Police along with bomb disposal squads reached the campuses and launched thorough search operations. The entire premises were carefully checked to rule out any danger. So far, no suspicious object has been found, but all safety protocols are being strictly followed.

Similarly, in Noida, Shiv Nadar School also received a bomb threat through email. Police teams immediately reached the spot and began investigations. According to officials, the email appears to be a hoax at first glance, though all angles are being examined seriously. It is worth noting that several schools in Noida have earlier received similar email threats.

After the threat, school authorities decided to keep the school closed for the day as a precaution. In a message sent to parents, the school principal stated that the school would remain shut due to security checks, school buses were turned back, and parents were requested to collect their children from designated drop-off points.

Repeated threats have created anxiety among parents. Meanwhile, police and cyber cell teams are tracing the email, IP address and the sender’s identity. Security around school campuses has been tightened, and all agencies remain on high alert.
