Ahmedabad (The Uttam Hindu): A major plane accident has come to light on Thursday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where an Air India plane has crashed. It is being told that there were many passengers on board the plane. Former Gujarat Chief Minister and Punjab BJP in-charge Vijay Rupani is also said to be on board the plane.

There were 242 passengers on board this plane. This plane took off from Sardar Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, but could not even cross the boundary of the airport and met with an accident. This accident happened near Meghnagar area of ​​Ahmedabad. The plane crashed during take-off. Immediately after the plane crashed, black smoke was seen rising in the sky from the spot. Due to this, heavy damage is expected in the plane crash. No official information has yet been revealed about the loss of life and property in this accident.

The accident took place near Ahmedabad Horse Camp, this area is near the Civil Hospital. The State Police Control Room has confirmed the accident. Officials have urged people to stay away from the spot.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took information about the Ahmedabad plane crash from Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. He also assured all possible help from the central government.
