Budget Session starts January 28, full schedule of Parliament proceedings here

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) – According to the tentative schedule finalized by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, President Draupadi Murmu will address a joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament on January 28. This address will formally commence the Budget Session of Parliament.

Budget and Economic Survey Schedule

According to official sources, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will not meet on January 29 due to the Beating Retreat ceremony. The Economic Survey is then expected to be presented on January 30. Neither House will convene on January 31. The Union Budget will be presented in Parliament on Sunday, February 1.

Parliament will adjourn for a recess of nearly a month on February 13 after the completion of discussions on the President's address and the motion of thanks on the Union Budget. Parliament will then reconvene on March 9 and the Budget Session will conclude on Thursday, April 2.
