Crucial Ram Mandir Trust meeting today, decision on Champat Rai's resignation likely
The Ram Mandir Trust will hold a key meeting today, with Champat Rai's resignation expected to be discussed and decided.

Ayodhya (The Uttam Hindu): The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will hold an important meeting on Monday amid the ongoing controversy over the alleged theft of temple offerings. The meeting is expected to discuss the reported resignations of General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, along with other key administrative matters including appointments within the Trust.
The meeting will begin at 3 pm at the Yatri Suvidha Kendra inside the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. It will be the Trust's first major meeting since the donation theft case surfaced. Sources indicate that several important organisational and administrative decisions could be taken during the discussions.
The alleged donation theft case came to light on June 5 following which an SIT was constituted on June 13. So far, eight people have been arrested in connection with the investigation. Most trustees are expected to attend the meeting in person, while senior advocate K. Parasaran and a few other members will participate virtually.
