Chemical factory blaze in Bhiwadi leaves 7 dead, many workers still trapped

Bhiwadi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident occurred this morning in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, where seven people were burned alive in a fire at a chemical factory. According to reports, the bodies of the deceased have been recovered. It is being reported that some workers are still trapped inside the factory. According to eyewitnesses, around 25 workers were working at the time of the incident. The accident occurred in the Khushkheda Karauli Industrial Area.


Meanwhile, a police team was patrolling the area when they became aware of the incident and began a rescue operation. Seeing the flames, some workers managed to escape safely. Fire engines from the Khuskheda Fire Station and Bhiwadi RICO Station arrived at the scene. The fire was brought under control after approximately one and a half hours of effort. Tijara DSP Shivraj Singh is present at the scene and has initiated an investigation. The Bhiwadi SP and ADM are also expected to arrive at the scene soon.
