Chocolate Bait: 4 years UP Girl, Raped and Brutally Attacked by Neighbor

Kanpur (The Uttam Hindu) : A horrific incident has shaken the residents of Ghatampur in Kanpur Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh. A 4-year-old girl was raped and brutally hit on the head with a brick by her neighbor, leaving her in a critical condition.

The Incident

According to the girl's father, she had gone to a nearby shop on Tuesday evening when the accused, a young man from the same locality, lured her with the promise of chocolate. He took her to a shrine behind the shop, where he committed the heinous crime. When the girl resisted and screamed, the accused stuffed leaves into her mouth and hit her on the head with a brick multiple times.

Condition of the Victim

The girl was rushed to a local hospital, where she was given first aid and subsequently referred to Kanpur District Hospital in critical condition. A green corridor was created for her transfer to ensure a smooth and speedy journey.

Investigation and Demands for Justice

The local police have launched an investigation into the incident. The girl's father has demanded strict punishment for the accused, expressing doubts about his daughter's survival. "My daughter might not make it. This was clearly an attempt on her life," he said.
