Youth Brutally Beaten, Robbed of ₹1.5 Lakh At Toll Booth; Video Goes Viral

Churu (The Uttam Hindu): A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Churu district of Rajasthan, where a young man was brutally attacked at a toll booth in Sidhmukh police station area. After hitting him with vehicles, the attackers brutally beat the young man with iron rods, hockey sticks and swords until he fell unconscious on the ground. The video of this entire barbarity has also surfaced on social media.
Sidhmukh police station in-charge Pushpendra Singh said that the victim's elder brother, Subhash Jat (50), a resident of Ratanpura, has lodged a case in this regard. According to the complaint, his younger brother Bane Singh was going towards Sidhmukh in his pick-up vehicle at around 11 pm on July 1. When he reached the Chainpura Chota toll post, the attackers who were already waiting there deliberately hit his vehicle with two Bolero vehicles and a pick-up vehicle.

After this, Manjeet alias Bittu, Kikar Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Sachin alias Kalu, Jaiveer and Deepak along with others riding in the Bolero surrounded Bane Singh and attacked him with the intention of killing him.
According to the report, when Bane Singh ran towards the toll office to save his life, the attackers caught him there and started beating him badly with weapons. Bane Singh fell unconscious after being seriously injured in the attack. It is alleged that after this the attackers fled after looting Rs 1.5 lakh cash, gold chain from his neck, watch, car keys and other important documents kept in his car.
After the incident, the local people took the victim to the nearest hospital, from where he was referred to the district hospital of Churu due to his critical condition. The police have registered a case against the named accused under serious sections and started investigation. However, even after three days of the incident, all the accused are absconding and the police are engaged in searching for them.
