Class 11 student shoots dead milk trader, claims revenge for uncle’s murder

Ghaziabad (The Uttam Hindu): On Saturday afternoon in Muradnagar of Ghaziabad, a minor, burning with the fire of revenge, carried out a sensational crime in a filmy style. In broad daylight near Olympic Tiraha, a 17-year-old boy shot a convicted prisoner, who was out on bail, by putting a pistol on his temple. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Imran, a resident of Kachi Sarai Colony. Surprisingly, after committing the murder, instead of running away, the accused student went to the police station and surrendered and told the police that he had taken revenge for the murder of his uncle. This revenge was for a murder that had taken place a year before the accused was even born.
According to the incident, Imran was sitting at a bicycle repair shop at Olympic Tiraha on Saturday afternoon. He worked as a milk supplier and lived with his family. An 11th-grade student, riding a motorcycle, shot him. Upon being shot, Imran collapsed, bleeding profusely, and panic gripped the market. People ran for cover. Locals immediately rushed the injured Imran to the hospital, where he was referred to Ghaziabad, but doctors declared him dead. Police investigations have revealed that Imran murdered the accused's uncle, Akhlaq, on December 13, 2007, for which he was sentenced to life imprisonment and was currently out on bail.
After the incident, the accused minor went straight to the Muradnagar police station and told the policemen, "Sir, I have avenged my uncle's murder. The body is lying in the middle of the market." Hearing this, the police department was shocked. During interrogation, the teenager revealed that he had not even been born when his uncle was murdered, but since childhood, he had been hearing stories of the incident at home, which made his blood boil. He had decided to take revenge three years ago and had been continuously stalking Imran. On Saturday, when he got the opportunity, he settled the 18-year-old score with bullets. Police have taken the accused into custody and are taking further legal action.
