Congress posts AI video of PM’s mother, says – ‘How low will you stoop for politics’

Patna (The Uttam Hindu)- A storm has once again arisen in Bihar politics. Bihar Congress has shared an AI generated video on its official X handle, which shows a man resembling Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a woman resembling his late mother Hiraben.

What is in the video?

The caption of this 36-second video is - "Maa came in Saheb's dreams. Watch the interesting conversation."

It is shown in the video that the Prime Minister's mother comes in his dreams and tells him –

“First you made me stand in the demonetisation lines.”

“You got reels made for washing my feet.”

“Now you are doing politics in my name in Bihar.”

“How low will you stoop in the name of politics?”

The video also showed Modi being accused of using his mother's name for politics.

BJP's counter attack

As soon as the video surfaced, the Bharatiya Janata Party launched a scathing attack on the Congress. The party called it an insult to the Prime Minister and his mother. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said - "Rahul Gandhi and Congress have now stooped so low that they do not even know how to respect the mothers of others. Those who cannot respect their own mothers, how will they respect the mothers of others."

Political temperature rises

This controversial video has further raised the political temperature in Bihar. BJP accused the Congress of "lowering the level of political debate", while the Congress camp claimed that this is a satirical video.
