Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s health deteriorates, admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Veteran Congress leader and All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge has been admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru after complaints of health-related issues. According to doctors, his condition remains stable, but he has been kept under close observation for a detailed medical evaluation.

At 88, Kharge is one of the most experienced and respected leaders of the Congress party. He has been active in politics for decades and has played a key role in steering the Congress in recent years. Since becoming AICC President in October 2022, he has led the party in several crucial elections and initiated significant organizational reforms.

Party sources indicate that this may just be a routine health check-up, but given his age, doctors are not taking any risks. So far, no official medical bulletin has been released by the hospital or his family. Several senior Congress leaders and party workers have wished him a speedy recovery.
