New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : Big news has come from the national capital, Delhi. On Tuesday, a man attempted to enter the Delhi Assembly premises, after which the police detained him. The man detained by the police was identified as Naveen Dabas, a resident of Buddha Vihar, Delhi. Naveen Dabas works as a guest faculty (TGT English) under the Delhi government. He has been serving in the Education Department for the past 12 years.

According to reports, the man entered through the main entrance by presenting a government identification card. During interrogation, he expressed a demand for reforms in policies related to guest faculty teachers. No suspicious or objectionable material has been recovered from him so far. Preliminary investigations have revealed no criminal intent. A joint interrogation is being conducted for security reasons. During police interrogation, the suspect claimed to have come at the invitation of a Delhi minister. However, he later revealed that he had no acquaintance with the minister.

It should be noted that the winter session of the eighth Delhi Legislative Assembly began on January 5th and will continue until January 8th. If necessary, it can be extended further with the consent of the House. The very first day of the Delhi Assembly's winter session witnessed a massive uproar over pollution. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs raised the issue of Delhi pollution in the House, following which, on the Speaker's orders, marshals ejected all AAP MLAs from the House. Four MLAs were also suspended for three days. The AAP has launched a scathing attack on the BJP government over this action. AAP Legislative Party Chief Whip Sanjeev Jha questioned the government, saying that pollution is the biggest problem facing Delhiites right now. In such a situation, how could questioning the Lieutenant Governor (LG) on this issue become a crime? The government became so uncomfortable with raising the voice of the public that it suspended four MLAs.
