Delhi on high alert as Bihar intensifies preparations for new government’s swearing-in

While the NDA alliance secured a landslide victory in 202 seats, the All India Mahagathbandhan was wiped out. Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony to form the new NDA government have intensified. Meanwhile, the Patna District Magistrate has issued an order. CM Nitish has called a cabinet meeting tomorrow. The Patna District Magistrate issued an order stating that Patna's Gandhi Maidan will remain closed for four days. There will be a complete ban on entry of people from November 17th to 20th. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to take place at Gandhi Maidan, hence the District Magistrate has banned entry of people to Gandhi Maidan for four days. In the Bihar Assembly elections, the public expressed confidence in the NDA and gave it a complete majority, while the Grand Alliance suffered a crushing defeat. In this election, under the NDA, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 89 seats, the Janata Dal United (JDU) 85, the LJP (R) 19, HAM 5, and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha 4 seats.
Speaking of the All India Mahagathbandhan (Mahagathbandhan), the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) won 25 seats, while the Congress won six. Mukesh Sahni's party, VIP, failed to open its account in this election. Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM won five seats. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant Kumar, said on Sunday, "This is the blessing and support of the people of Bihar. The hard work my father has put in over the past 20 years has paid off, and I thank the people for this." He added, "I express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Bihar for once again placing their trust in my father and giving him this victory. We sincerely hope that my father lives up to the people's trust and continues the development he has accomplished."
