Deputy CM’s Convoy Engulfed in Flames on Mughal Road – Alleges Plot to Kill Him

Poonch(The Uttam Hindu): A major mishap was narrowly averted when the vehicle carrying Jammu & Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary caught fire after a tire burst on the Srinagar–Poonch Mughal Road route. The incident occurred around 50 kilometers before Poonch, in the Chandimadh forest area. Acting swiftly, the driver pulled the vehicle to the roadside, and security personnel evacuated the Deputy CM to another vehicle.

Expressing strong outrage, Choudhary alleged that "scrap vehicles" were being provided for his security and claimed this was the third such incident, suggesting a conspiracy to kill him. He credited divine intervention for saving his life each time.

After the scare, Choudhary proceeded to pay obeisance at Baba Budha Amarnath Temple and participated in the Chhari Yatra, praying for peace, prosperity, and Jammu & Kashmir’s full statehood by next year’s pilgrimage.
