Tragedy during Durga idol immersion: Tractor-trolley falls into pond, 11 dead including 8 girls

Bhopal (The Uttam Hindu) - Big news is coming from Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. The news is that during the immersion of Durga idol, a tractor-trolley fell into a pond. 11 people including 8 girls died in this accident. About 20 to 25 people have been reported to have drowned. It is being told that the incident took place in Ardla village of Pandhana police station area, where the driver had parked the tractor-trolley on a culvert while going to immerse the Durga idol in the pond on the day of Dussehra. From there, the tractor-trolley overturned on the culvert and this accident happened.

So far, 10 people have been reported dead in the accident, most of them children. Rescue operations are currently underway at the scene. The death toll is expected to rise further.
