Indora (The Uttam Hindu): A 29-year-old man died after coming in contact with a live wire in the fields of Malhadi village, part of the Gram Panchayat Malhadi under the Indora police station. The deceased has been identified as Tilak Raj, son of Joginder Pal, a resident of Malhadi. According to reports, Tilak Raj had gone to the fields to cut grass. Live wire had been laid to protect the fields from wild animals. During the incident, he was electrocuted and died on the spot.


Police investigations have revealed that Karnaveer, son of Joginder Singh, was the one who installed the electric wire. His negligence led to the accident, resulting in the young man's death.


Locals said that Tilak Raj was his sister's only brother and was scheduled to get married next month. This sudden incident has caused grief in the family and the entire village.


Station House Officer Ashish Pathania confirmed the incident and said that the police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. He added that a case has been registered against Karanveer under sections 125 and 104 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and further action has been initiated.
