Hyderabad (The Uttam Hindu): An Indigo Airlines flight from Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, developed a technical fault. Shortly after takeoff, the plane had to hover in the sky for 40 minutes, after which an emergency landing was made at Tirupati Airport.

On Sunday evening, IndiGo's Airbus A321neo flight took off from Tirupati airport at 7:42 pm. According to flight tracking website FlightRadar24, after taking off, the plane reached Tirupati's Venkatnagari area, but due to a technical glitch, it took a U-turn from there and kept circling in the air for about 40 minutes. Finally, at 8:34 pm, the plane landed safely at Tirupati airport.

During the incident, the passengers on board the plane were very nervous. However, with the help of the pilot's presence of mind and the cooperation of ground control, all the passengers were safely evacuated.

On the other hand, IndiGo's official website stated that the flight took off at 7:20 pm and reached Hyderabad at 8:30 pm, which does not match the actual sequence of events. Moreover, the last flight of the day from Tirupati to Hyderabad was also cancelled.

Passengers' anger erupted.

Due to the cancellation of the flight and lack of information, the passengers expressed their anger towards the airline. Many videos have surfaced on social media, in which passengers are seen arguing with the IndiGo staff. At present, no official statement has been issued by IndiGo on this incident.
