Kanpur (The Uttam Hindu): The investigation of Junior Works Manager Vikas Kumar, who was caught in the case of leaking confidential information from Ordnance Factory, Kanpur, has once again intensified. On Friday, a joint team of Army, CBI and NIA raided the factory premises and thoroughly examined the documents.

The team examined the information related to the cannon barrel, ammunition production, digital files and attendance of the employees. Other departments were also visited and investigated. Till late evening, there was also talk of questioning the officials.

It is noteworthy that on March 19, ATS arrested Vikas on charges of sharing confidential information related to the factory with Pakistani agent Neha Sharma. During interrogation, it was revealed that Vikas had sent sensitive information related to equipment, attendance of employees, production charts and ammunition.

It is expected that this raid conducted again after three months will provide some important clues in the case. However, the factory administration is still refraining from commenting on it. According to sources, another case related to financial irregularities has also been investigated during the raid.
