Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu) : Dense fog has enveloped some cities in northern and western India, directly impacting air traffic. Flight operations are being affected due to low visibility in Chandigarh, Jammu, and Udaipur. Indigo Airlines has issued a travel advisory.

IndiGo has stated that dense fog is currently prevailing in Chandigarh. This has slowed flight operations at the airport. Flights scheduled to depart or land in Chandigarh may be delayed. The airline states that it is conducting operations with the weather conditions in mind, ensuring passenger safety is not compromised.

The airline has urged passengers to check the latest flight status on IndiGo's website or mobile app before leaving for the airport. This will save them time and avoid unnecessary waiting at the airport.

Similarly, low visibility and fog in Jammu and Udaipur may impact flight schedules. IndiGo stated that its teams are constantly monitoring the weather and making decisions based on the situation. The airline's sole focus is on ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely and comfortably.

IndiGo also assured that its ground and customer support teams are available to assist passengers every step of the way. In the event of any flight delays or changes, efforts are being made to provide timely information to passengers.

The airline hopes that the weather will improve in the coming days and flight operations will return to normal once the skies clear. IndiGo has appealed to passengers for patience and cooperation.
