
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): GAIL (India) Limited has released its financial results for the first nine months of the financial year 2025-26 (up to December 31, 2025). The company's revenue from operations stood at ₹1,03,899 crore, compared to ₹1,01,580 crore in the same period of the previous year.
During this period, the company's profit before tax (PBT) was ₹7,387 crore, compared to ₹12,123 crore in the previous year. Profit after tax (PAT) was recorded at ₹5,706 crore, compared to ₹9,263 crore in the same period of the previous year. The company stated that the financial year 2024-25 included a special income of ₹2,440 crore due to an arbitration settlement.
On a quarterly basis, revenue from operations in the third quarter (Q3) of FY26 was ₹34,076 crore, compared to ₹35,031 crore in the previous quarter. PBT for this quarter was ₹2,030 crore and PAT was ₹1,603 crore.
The average gas transmission volume during the quarter was 125.45 MMSCMD. Gas marketing volume was recorded at 103.98 MMSCMD. LHC sales were 200 TMT and polymer sales were 218 TMT.
On a consolidated basis, the company's total income for the nine months was ₹1,06,389 crore. During this period, PBT was ₹7,759 crore and PAT (excluding non-controlling interest) was ₹6,098 crore.
In Q3 FY26, consolidated income was ₹35,303 crore, PBT was ₹2,165 crore, and PAT was ₹1,756 crore. GAIL's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Sandeep Kumar Gupta, announced that the 1,182-kilometer section of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda gas pipeline was commissioned in the third quarter. This brings GAIL's total operational gas pipeline network to over 18,000 kilometers. He also informed that GAIL Global IFSC Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company located in GIFT City, has successfully commenced operations in its very first year.
The company has declared an interim dividend of 50% for the financial year 2025-26, which translates to ₹5 per share.
