Ghaziabad (The Uttam Hindu): New layers are being revealed every day in the case of suicide of three sisters Nishika, Prachi and Pakhi in Ghaziabad. Police investigation has now revealed that the girls' father, Chetan Kumar, had married not two but three times in the last 16 years. During the investigation, the police also found three marriage certificates related to this. According to police sources, Chetan Kumar had hidden the information about three marriages in his initial statements. Investigation has revealed that Chetan first married Sujata in the year 2010, after which he married her sister Hina in the year 2013 and in the year 2021 he got married in a court marriage with Tina, a resident of Seelampur.

It has also come to light that his third wife, Tina, was trying to get the children back into education by distancing them from Korean culture and their addiction to mobile phones. At her insistence, Chetan enrolled all three daughters in tuition about a month ago. According to the police, Chetan concealed his third marriage to avoid questions about his character.

Police say that Sujata and Hina are uneducated and did not pay much attention to their daughters' education. In contrast, Tina was serious about the children's education and constantly discouraged them from spending too much time on their mobile phones. When Tina learned of her daughters' strong affinity for Korean culture, she discussed the matter with Chetan. Chetan then confiscated their mobile phones and arranged for their tuition. After receiving a complaint from the tuition teacher that the girls still identified as Korean, scolding and strictness were increased at home.

Sujata and Hina are reportedly in a poor mental state since the accident. Both are in shock. According to police sources, the investigation team has visited Chetan's home several times to record statements. During these conversations, Sujata and Hina repeatedly faint, saying, "The Korean killed my daughter," and continue repeating this for a long time. Currently, Chetan, Tina, and other family members are trying to console them.

Meanwhile, local residents have begun raising objections to Chetan Kumar's residence in Bharat City Society. Jaiprakash Thakur, president of the society's AOA, has spoken with the flat owners regarding this matter. It is feared that Chetan and his family may soon have to vacate both flats.

According to the AOA president, the society members are shocked by the information that has emerged about Chetan since the accident and believe it is inappropriate for the family to remain there under the current circumstances. However, given the atmosphere of grief, no discussions have been held with the family on this issue.

The police have barricaded the area in the society where the three girls fell. Blood stains and pieces of clothing remain at the scene. Children come to the park to play, but are terrified by the scene. Women present at the park on Saturday reported that despite the investigation, the park has not been cleaned yet. ACP Shalimar Garden, Atul Kumar Singh, stated that instructions have been given to the station in-charge, and the area will be cleaned and the barricades removed soon.

It is noteworthy that three minor sisters, distressed by their addiction to mobile phones and online games, committed suicide by jumping from a ninth-floor balcony at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday at Bharat City Society in Tilamod, Sahibabad. The deceased sisters have been identified as Nishika (16), Prachi (14), and Pakhi (12). This tragic incident has shocked the entire nation.

According to police, the three sisters, traumatized by the loss of their mobile phones, were obsessed with the Korean game Lover. A pocket diary containing an eight-page suicide note was recovered from their room. Father Chetan Kumar stated in a statement to police that the three daughters were seriously addicted to mobile phones and spent hours daily playing Korean games. They had also adopted Korean names.
