New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The main accused in the Goa nightclub fire incident, the Luthra brothers, have approached the court to avoid arrest. After fleeing abroad, nightclub owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra have filed an anticipatory bail application in Delhi’s Rohini Court through their lawyer, requesting protection from arrest.

Meanwhile, Goa Police have arrested Ajay Gupta, a close associate and business partner of the Luthra brothers, from Delhi. During questioning, Ajay Gupta claimed that he was only a business partner and had no knowledge of the incident. Goa Police will present him in Saket Court to seek transit remand. Delhi Police Crime Branch is only assisting Goa Police in the investigation.

The Luthra brothers filed for anticipatory bail in Rohini Court as their residence is in Mukherjee Nagar.

It is reported that nightclub owner Gaurav Luthra was spotted at Phuket Airport in Thailand after the incident. The Goa Chief Minister’s Office stated that Interpol has issued a Blue Corner Notice against nightclub owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra.
