Panaji (The Uttam Hindu): The escape of the Luthra brothers, the main accused in the devastating nightclub fire in Arpora, Goa, is about to end. The two brothers, who fled the country to Thailand immediately after the incident, will be brought to Delhi airport tomorrow morning. The Goa Police team is fully prepared to detain them at the airport. After taking them into custody, the police will present them in a Delhi court tomorrow, where they will be granted transit remand and taken to Goa for further legal and interrogation proceedings.

The investigation has revealed the brothers' callousness and cunning plan. At around 11:45 pm on December 6, 2025, when the club caught fire and fire brigade teams were busy extinguishing the flames, the Luthra brothers were plotting their escape. The investigation revealed that they booked tickets to Phuket (Thailand) through the "Make My Trip" app at 1:17 am on December 7. They arrived at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport at 3 am and flew to Thailand on IndiGo flight (6E-1073) at 5:30 am. They had left the country within just 6 to 8 hours of the fire.

According to sources, the two brothers had returned from Dubai with their family just four days before the fire. One of the brothers also had a long-term UK visa, but they decided to flee to Thailand together. It is noteworthy that on the night of December 6, a massive fire broke out during a Bollywood-themed party at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora village, North Goa. In this horrific accident, 25 people tragically died and around 50 were injured. Hundreds of people were present in the club at that time, whose lives were in danger.
