Tonk (The Uttam Hindu): A sensational incident has come to light in the district's Ghad police station area, raising serious questions about both relationships and the law. Three uncles brutally murdered their own nephew with an axe over a land dispute. The shocking incident occurred just 72 hours after a settlement was reached in the presence of the police.

This horrific incident occurred in Belhari village. According to reports, the deceased, Suresh Gurjar, was on his way to a community feast in the village with his elder brother, Manraj. On the way, his three uncles—Rameshwar, Babulal, and Chhotu Maharaj—stopped him at their home on the pretext of offering him tea. As soon as Suresh entered the house, the three uncles, along with their son Sonu and his wife, Lakshmi, who had already been waiting inside, attacked him with axes and sticks.

The attack was so fatal that Suresh died on the spot. All the accused fled the scene after committing the crime. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and placed it in the mortuary at Duni CHC. The body was handed over to the family today after a post-mortem by a medical board.

Following this massacre, the entire village is in an atmosphere of terror and mourning. Villagers say that the brutal execution of the murder, despite a compromise brokered by the police, poses a significant challenge to law and order.

Ghad police station in-charge Hariram Verma said that based on the complaint of the deceased's brother Manraj, a murder case has been registered against five people, including the three uncles. Special police teams have been formed to arrest the accused, and raids are underway. He assured that all the accused will be arrested soon.
