New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): An Indigo flight from Hyderabad to Kuwait made an emergency landing in Mumbai. According to reports, shortly after takeoff, an email was received threatening a "human bomb" on board. Upon receiving the message, security agencies took immediate action and diverted the flight to Mumbai.


A flight from Hyderabad to Kuwait made an emergency landing in Mumbai after receiving a bomb threat: It was reported that this IndiGo flight departed from Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for Kuwait on Tuesday morning. An email received after the flight claimed the presence of a bomb, based on which air traffic control immediately diverted the plane and made an emergency landing. The plane landed safely and all passengers were evacuated. Alternative arrangements are being made for the passengers for their onward journey.


According to officials, after landing, the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay and security checks were initiated. The bomb disposal squad, CISF, and other security agencies are thoroughly checking the aircraft. Initial checks have so far revealed no suspicious objects or explosives.
