New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Dense fog across Delhi and several parts of North India continues to disrupt air traffic operations. Due to poor visibility conditions, flight movements at many airports have slowed down, leading to delays. In view of the situation, IndiGo Airlines has issued a travel advisory for passengers.

In its advisory, IndiGo stated that visibility levels at several airports have dropped significantly because of fog, affecting the normal arrival and departure of flights. The airline informed passengers about the situation through a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.

IndiGo said that considering the prevailing weather conditions, flight departures and arrivals are being operated in a phased and controlled manner to ensure safe and smooth operations. The airline’s operational teams are continuously monitoring the situation and adjusting schedules according to changing fog conditions.

Passengers have been advised to check their flight status before leaving for the airport. IndiGo has made flight status information available on its official website for passenger convenience. Travelers have also been urged to allow extra time to reach the airport, as low visibility may affect road traffic as well.

Reassuring passengers, the airline said that its airport teams are fully prepared and available to provide all necessary assistance, ensuring minimal inconvenience during travel.

IndiGo is India’s largest passenger airline and among the fastest-growing airlines globally. The carrier operates a modern fleet of over 400 aircraft and runs more than 2,200 flights daily. IndiGo connects over 130 destinations across India and abroad, including more than 40 international locations.
