Indian Bank Honoured with Rajbhasha Kirti Award

Gandhinagar(The Uttam Hindu): Indian Bank, one of the country’s leading public sector banks, has been honoured with the Third Prize of the Rajbhasha Kirti Award for the year 2024–25 at the Hindi Diwas Celebration, held during the 5th All India Rajbhasha Conference 2025 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Indian Bank received this recognition for the second consecutive year, acknowledging its outstanding performance in the field of Rajbhasha implementation.
The award was presented on the inaugural day of the two-day conference at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, by Union Minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma. On behalf of Indian Bank, Shri Manoj Kumar Das, General Manager, Official Language Department, Corporate Office, received the honour.
This award reflects Indian Bank’s strong commitment to the effective implementation of the Official Language Policy and to promoting Hindi in banking operations. The Bank continues to dedicate itself to providing services across the nation with the spirit of “Customer Service in the Customer’s Language.”
