Vrindavan (The Uttam Hindu): After the uproar over his alleged controversial statement regarding the Yaduvansh, Vrindavan's famous storyteller Indresh Upadhyay has finally publicly apologized to the Yadav community. Releasing an emotional video message on social media, he clarified that his intention was not to hurt the sentiments of any community or society. He openly admitted that if any of his words have hurt the Yadav community, he is heartily sorry for it. He stressed that he has always had respect for the Yadav community and will continue to do so in the future.

Indresh Upadhyay clarified that the video that has sparked this controversy isn't from today, but rather a story from about 4 to 5 years ago. He said that some anti-social elements are trying to incite conflict by misrepresenting old stories. In his appeal, he stated that all Yadavs in India are his own, and that we all share the same culture and follow the same deity, Lord Krishna. Paying tribute to the glorious history of the Yadav community, he said that his intention was not to hurt anyone, and that many of his own close friends come from this community.

It is noteworthy that recently, an old video of Indresh Upadhyay went viral on social media, in which he was allegedly seen making comments about the descendants of Lord Krishna. Upon the release of this video, widespread outrage spread within the Yadav community throughout Uttar Pradesh, including Mathura. Various organizations and intellectuals within the community strongly objected, calling it a tampering with scriptures and history. The organizations warned that if the narrator did not publicly apologize, legal action would be taken against him. Following this massive backlash, Indresh Upadhyay has taken the initiative to end the controversy by releasing a video.
