New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Fugitive Jagdish Punetha of Uttarakhand has been apprehended and brought back from the UAE. A case has been registered against him at the Pithoragarh police station in Uttarakhand on charges of fraud and criminal conspiracy. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday said that with the cooperation of the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs, the return of fugitive Jagdish Punetha from UAE on November 13 has been successfully coordinated.
