Jaipur-Agra highway tragedy: six killed as car crashes into trailer

Dausa (The Uttam Hindu): Six young men were killed in a major road accident on the Jaipur-Agra National Highway (NH-21) in Rajasthan's Dausa district on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.


Tragic accident: Car hits divider, collides with trailer on Jaipur-Agra Highway; 6 killed: The accident took place near Kailai village in the Sikandra police station area of the district. Six youths, residents of Kalakho village, were travelling in a car. Then suddenly the car went out of control, hit the divider of the highway and reached the other lane. Then the car collided violently with a trailer.


According to police, all the occupants of the car were residents of Kalakho village and were returning from a wedding. The impact of the car was so severe that four people died on the spot, while two more young men later succumbed to their injuries.


The deceased have been identified as Lokesh, son of Govardhan Yogi, Dilkhush, son of Banwari Lal Yogi, Manish, son of Harimohan Yogi, Ankit, son of Lalram Bairwa, and Samay Singh, son of Ram Singh Yogi. All the bodies have been kept in the mortuaries of various hospitals for post-mortem. Four bodies have been sent to Sikandra Hospital, one to Jaipur, and one to Dausa District Hospital.
