I Killed Raja’: Sonam's Shocking Confession Unmasks Deadly Betrayal

Madhya Pradesh (The Uttam Hindu) : The Meghalaya police have arrested Sonam Raghuvanshi, the wife of Indore-based businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, for her alleged involvement in his murder. According to the police, Sonam conspired with her lover, Raj Kushwaha, to hire three killers to execute the plan.
The Investigation
The police investigation, dubbed "Operation Honeymoon," revealed that Sonam had taken Raja to Shillong on the pretext of a honeymoon, where he was murdered. Raja's body was found in a deep gorge near a waterfall in the Sohra area of East Khasi Hills district on June 2.
Confession and Arrests
During interrogation, Sonam confessed to her involvement in the planned crime. She and her associates were arrested from Indore in Madhya Pradesh and Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava condemned the murder, stating that tourists are generally safe in the Northeast. Raja's brother, Sachin Raghuvanshi, apologized to the Meghalaya government for any tarnish to the state's image due to the incident and thanked the government for their support.
