New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Krish Arora, a 10-year-old Indian-origin boy from Hounslow, has been discovered to have an IQ of 162, surpassing that of renowned scientist Albert Einstein, who had an IQ of 160. Krish demonstrated his extraordinary abilities early on, being able to read fluently and solve complex mathematical problems, including decimal division, by the age of 4.

Born to Mauli and Nischal, both engineers, Krish attends a state school where he excels academically. He can solve Wordle puzzles in just one or two minutes and, despite having only played chess for four months, has already defeated his mentor, who holds a FIDE rating of 1600. His parents proudly admit that their son now outperforms them in almost every activity.

His mother shared that Krish began reading at an early age and had excellent spelling and advanced mathematical skills by the time he was four. "We could see the sparks," she said.

In addition to his academic talents, Krish has been accepted into Mensa, the exclusive society for the top two percent of IQ scorers. He passed the Mensa entrance exam with ease, inspired by the character of Young Sheldon, a child genius from the popular TV show, which sparked his interest in testing his own IQ.

Krish is also a gifted musician, having achieved grade eight in piano after just one and a half years of practice. He possesses the rare ability of absolute pitch, allowing him to recreate songs without a reference note. "I like maths a little more than piano, so I’ll probably pursue something related to maths," said Krish.

In his downtime, Krish enjoys playing with his friends. Next year, he will continue his education at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Barnet. His mother, while acknowledging the challenges of raising such an intellectually gifted child, expresses great pride. "It’s a challenge bringing up a child so smart, but it's a pure pleasure because seeing him do things brilliantly at such a young age feels like a gift," she said.
