Lalu Yadav's Daughter Exposes Abuse: 'He Slapped Me, Picked Up Slipper to Hit Me'

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) – Following the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)'s crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, Rohini Acharya, daughter of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, has leveled serious allegations against her brother, Tejashwi Yadav. Rohini's allegations have intensified political tensions in Bihar.
On Saturday, Rohini announced her decision to quit politics through a post. Now, in another post, she has stated that even slippers were raised to beat her. Rohini Acharya said in a social media post on Sunday that her daughter, sister and mother were humiliated. Rohini wrote in the post, “Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a married woman, a mother was humiliated, filthy abuses were hurled, slippers were raised to hit her. I did not compromise on my self-respect, did not surrender the truth, and only because of this, I had to face humiliation. Yesterday, a daughter left her crying parents and sisters out of helplessness.”
She said, "I was forced to leave my maternal home. I was orphaned. May you all never follow my path. May no one have a daughter or sister like Rohini."
It should be noted that during a media interaction on Saturday, Rohini Acharya had said, "I have no family. You should go and ask Tejashwi Yadav, Sanjay Yadav, and Rameez. These are the people who expelled me from the family. They don't want to take any responsibility. The entire country is asking why the party has fallen so badly. For mentioning the names of Sanjay Yadav and Rameez, you are thrown out of the house, insulted, and abused."
No family member has yet issued a statement regarding the serious allegations leveled by Rohini against the family. Tejashwi Yadav has also remained silent on these allegations. However, Rohini's brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, has come out in support of his sister. He said that anyone who insults his sister will face the wrath of Krishna.
