Lightning Strikes Bijli Mahadev Temple, Shivling Splits After 12 Years

Kullu (The Uttam Hindu): Information has come to light that lightning has struck Bijli Mahadev in Himachal Pradesh. Due to which the Shivling has been broken. Lightning strikes the Pindi inside the Bijli Mahadev temple every 12 years, after which the butter paste applied on the Pindi breaks.

Even today, the deities give orders to the priest of Lord Shiva temple every year. After the Shivling is broken, the priest and his assistants again apply butter to the pindi. The lightning incident happened two weeks ago. During the day, lightning suddenly struck from the sky and the Shivling was broken. At that time, two youths were also visiting the temple. The priest of the temple was outside the temple for worship. Both the youths told that the Shivling was broken and the priest of the temple went inside and saw the Shivling as well. After this, the temple was closed by the temple management after this incident that happened two weeks ago and the devotees were also instructed not to come to the temple, but now the Shivling has been completely joined and the devotees are now visiting the Shivling of Lord Bijli Mahadev. Let us tell you that every 12 years, a fierce lightning strikes the Shivling installed inside the temple.
