Manipur encounter: Security forces kill 4 UKNA militants in fierce firefight

Churachandpur (The Uttam Hindu) : Security forces in Manipur's Churachandpur district killed four militants belonging to the banned organization United Kuki National Army (UKNA) in a joint search operation conducted early in the morning. The operation began around 5:30 am near Khanpi village. During the encounter, three militants were killed in the first phase, while the death of one more was confirmed later. Some militants managed to escape, and a combing operation is underway to trace them.
